The monks of the Sacred Art Tour Group touring the United States for one year to share their rich cultural heritage and keep the Tibetan traditions alive. Working on a World Peace Mandala out of sand to share blessings and healing energies throughout the world.
World Peace Mandala
This monk is part of the Drepung Gomang Monastery and is a Tibetan Buddhist refugee. Part of the Sacred Art Tour Group touring the United States for one year to share their rich cultural heritage and keep the Tibetan traditions alive. This World Peace Mandala is being made from placing one grain of sand at a time. Once the Mandala is complete the sand will be poured into a natural body of water so the blessings and healing energies may flow throughout the world.
